Most of our members are aware of the necessity to be ‘Fraud Aware’ when using their current account debit card for online payments. Indeed, our current account provider has shared a really good Fraud Awareness Brochure with us, which we have uploaded to our website and is available by clicking here.
However, with Ulster Bank and KBC shortly leaving the Irish Market, fraudulent emails and phone calls to customers are becoming more common. These calls and emails may appear to be from legitimate and reputable companies – we would like our members to be aware of this new fraudulent and illegal behaviour.
