Members of our credit union are at the heart of everything we do. Our motto is ‘people before profit’.
Credit unions are unlike other financial institutions – our members are the owners of our credit union and have a direct say in how their credit union is run.
How do we do this?
At Tullamore Credit Union we are answerable to our members. This means more than just reporting back to members at the Annual General Meeting. We work hard to build on our relations with our members and in the community.
The credit union movement is built upon the the efforts of thousands of volunteers who freely give their time and skills, in the spirit of co-operation.
Volunteers must carry out their duties in a prudent, competent and responsible manner – but it is also very rewarding!

We are local.
Tullamore Credit Union Ltd was established in 1963. From the beginning, our members have been at the heart of everything we do – we are run by fellow voluntary members, who are elected to the Board of Directors and Oversight Committees.
We are loyal.
Since 1963, we have been supporting our members in the local community.
Within our common bond, we actively support local and international charities, sporting and community groups, through sponsorship, our Community Support Fund, our Our World Fund and our Tidy Estates initiative. We are active in our primary and secondary schools, as well as local community groups and resource centres.
We are Lending
We provide a wide range of loan products to our members – from small personal loans to larger home purchase loans, as well as commercial and farm entreprises.
